At the third Council of the ninth session of the CSA this year, the deployment of the 2013 work of the CSA, whether it is quality, science and technology work, or the extension of service tentacles to the downstream, CISMA2013 exhibition work, home machine promotion, and even the construction of the secretariat and branches themselves, the fundamental purpose is in the new era. Guiding and promoting the industry to build a new environment that is more conducive to the development of industry enterprises also highlights the concept and goal of creating a service association.
In view of the seven key work within the year determined by the Joint Seam Association, Yang Xiaojing, secretary-general of the Joint Seam Association, understood the specific work from the perspective of the implementation of the work deployment, and elaborated the implementation plan of the work.
Q: This year, the China Joint Seam Association will "further promote the industry quality research, and carry out the acceptance and exchange of quality improvement results" as its primary work. Why do quality work to such a high level?
Yang Xiaojing: The promotion of "quality" as the major work of the association is not only a summary of the results of product quality improvement in the industry for three years, but also a mobilization and promotion of the next step, so as to guide and promote the role of enterprises to independently, continuously and deeply carry out product quality improvement work.
In 2010, the association launched the "Quality Improvement and catch-up project", with the aim of using about three years to promote the product quality of domestic brand conventional machine types: computer-controlled high-speed flat sewing machine, high-speed overlock sewing machine to reach or close to the quality level of similar international advanced products. In the past three years, through the leadership, organization and promotion of the association, especially the efforts of the enterprise itself, the quality improvement project has been deeply promoted and implemented, and this year, the "quality improvement project" has been accepted by the stage.
It is gratifying that from the current physical quality testing of the products of 7 pilot enterprises, it should be said that the product quality of each enterprise has been greatly improved than that of 3 years ago, and the quality of some first-line brand products is fully close to the advanced level of similar international products. However, we also see that some product quality problems are still exposed in the testing process, reflecting that there is still a certain gap in parts quality, product reliability design, assembly process level, on-site quality control and management.
The implementation of quality engineering has basically achieved the expected effect of improving the product quality of domestic products, especially pilot enterprises. In the next step, how to consolidate and extend the phased results achieved in terms of quality has become the focus of the association's work. According to the work deployment of the Council this year, we will continue to further promote the product quality improvement project through several special activities. First of all, 7 pilot enterprises, the expert group and the enterprises face to face on the quality assessment results of each product for detailed exchange, on the basis of summarizing the results and analyzing the gap, to promote the pilot enterprises to improve the quality of the project to other industrial sewing machine products widely extended; The second is to hold the industry quality improvement discussion and exchange conference, so that more backbone enterprises with strength can understand and actively participate in the implementation of quality improvement projects, and form a point with surface and comprehensive improvement of the industry quality improvement atmosphere; Finally, it is necessary to comprehensively summarize the achievements of the industry's three-year quality improvement and catch-up project, put forward more comprehensive, scientific and more operable industry product quality improvement and catch-up guidance documents, and point out the development direction of quality work for industry enterprises.
Of course, the overall improvement of product quality in the industry not only depends on the quality improvement and catch-up project, but also depends on the long-term instilling of the concept of "quality as life", and creating an atmosphere of quality and unremitting efforts in the whole industry. In the next step, we should carry out long-term work in product standard formulation, product quality testing and product quality promotion in accordance with the requirements of the Council.
Q: CISMA2013 will be held within the year. Could you please introduce the current progress of the exhibition work, and what innovations and improvements have been made by the Secretariat on various levels of details of the exhibition?
Yang Xiaojing: CISMA2013 is the top priority of this year's work, which requires the secretariat to devote all its efforts. This exhibition was held in the context of the industry's downturn after a year of economic fluctuations and the further deepening of industrial restructuring. At present, a total of more than 1,300 enterprises signed up for the exhibition, applying for a net area of more than 83,000 square meters, far more than the nine pavilions can accommodate the area. In addition, the exhibition scale of the group units will hit a record high, only Taiwan, Guangdong, Shenzhen, Dongyang International four exhibition groups applied for an area of more than 12,000 square meters.
This from another side reflects the confidence of enterprises in the industry and CISMA exhibition. Enterprises value CISMA's brand effect and display platform, and we should run the exhibition well. Therefore, although the pressure of this year's exhibition area allocation is very large, we still adhere to the exhibition principle of "not taking the interests as the guide, not seeking much, not seeking large, making CISMA fine and strong, and creating a boutique exhibition platform", actively advocate the concept of environmental protection and saving the exhibition, and compress the declared area of enterprises through negotiation and reasonably divide the booth. Reduce the two-way waste of enterprise input and exhibition space. At the same time, in order to maximize the benefit of enterprises, in the context of the rising costs of the exhibition hall year by year, the association continues to maintain the booth price unchanged since 2007, and gives members greater discounts at this year's exhibition.
In order to reflect the purpose of service, we strive to do all the work of the exhibition in-depth, increase efforts in investment, is expected to achieve a new breakthrough in the number of professional visitors in this year's exhibition; Increased investment in exhibition publicity, the number of cooperation with downstream industry media at home and abroad as well as overseas media increased significantly, and intensified the collection and compilation of news articles and special articles; In the exhibition service, further deployment of industry resources, and strive to "build an international first-class exhibition" goal. For example, we re-bid for CISMA2013 home transportation units, bringing greater benefits to exhibitors; Add automatic login machines in the registration hall to provide convenience for exhibitors and visitors; Encourage enterprises to do their best in booth application, exhibition publicity, booth construction and other aspects, and advocate economy. Q: How will the Association promote scientific and technological innovation this year, and what measures and new highlights will it have?
Yang Xiaojing: Different from the previous decade of rapid development, the industry is now facing challenges such as market saturation, relative excess capacity, and increasingly fierce competition, and the fundamentals of the industry have fundamentally changed. At the same time, from the perspective of the development of the international sewing machine industry, German and Japanese sewing machine enterprises are shrinking, scientific research and innovation are under multiple pressure, and the number of new products and new technologies is sharply reduced, which require domestic enterprises to upgrade from the development model of imitation to independent research and development. Therefore, the association evaluates the situation, further deepens the scientific and technological work of the industry, deeply promotes scientific and technological innovation, effectively mobilizes the enthusiasm of enterprise innovation and research and development, and makes innovation a self-conscious enterprise.
It must be emphasized that to encourage independent research and development of enterprises, the Association must respect and protect intellectual property rights, and create an industry environment conducive to technological research and development of enterprises, so as to mobilize the enthusiasm of enterprises. The Association has set up a leading group for intellectual property work to normalize intellectual property as the focus of the Science and Technology Training Department of the Secretariat, and to serve the industry enterprises through real-time publishing of industrial intellectual property information and other measures.
Another highlight of this year's scientific and technological innovation work is to carry out excellent new product selection activities in CISMA2013, using the platform of CISMA to focus on the exhibition of enterprise innovative products and compete with international advanced products on the international stage. For excellent new products, the Joint Seam Association will take out more than 1.5 million yuan awards to reward, and make practical moves in creating a scientific and technological innovation environment in the industry, so that enterprises really feel the association's support for independent research and development of enterprises.
